Dear Parents,
My name is Ms. Natalie and I am a trained Preschool and EYFS Teacher. I have not only received my Bachelor’s Degree as an Early Years Teacher from Pedagogical University of Russia but also a Diploma as Nursery Lead Teacher.
My experience in teaching the Early Years is spread over 10 years both internationally and in the UAE. Before moving to the UAE I worked as an Early Years Teacher in an International school for over 6 years and the rest of my experience is in the UAE where I have been teaching children primarily in the age group of 2 – 4 years. I have also received training in Jolly Phonics from Certified British Jolly Phonics Practitioners.
I have also studied the Montessori method and currently, in order to enhance my profession as a teacher, I am studying the Reggio Emilia approach. In the Montessori approach, we let children learn through their own experience and at their own pace. They can respond at any moment to the natural curiosities that exist in all humans and build solid foundation for life-long learning. In the Reggio Emilia method the teacher uses a child-led approach. The children have some control over the direction of their learning and ways and opportunities to express themselves.
I have endless love for children and love working with them. I have the ability to encourage children to achieve their potential by stimulating their enthusiasm and I strive to create opportunities for the children to lead their learning. I observe and listen to children, so I can plan the curriculum with their interests in mind.
I truly believe that every child is a unique child, who is constantly learning and can be capable, confident and self-assured.
